The General Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer is amenable to the General Board, serves as a nonvoting resource person to the board, and is under the supervision of the General Superintendent ([[2016 Wesleyan Discipline:1935:7]], [[2016 Wesleyan Discipline:1935:17|17]]). The General Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer shall exercise leadership in this office in keeping with The Discipline, the Policy of the General Board for the General Treasurer/Chief Financial Officer, and other directives as may be given by the General Conference, the General Board or its Executive Board.
