3111. In performing marriages, Wesleyan ministers shall not unite in marriage any person who is divorced, unless such divorce and remarriage is in keeping with the Scriptures and the Membership Commitments (265:5–7). In carrying out this duty, the minister shall be guided by the principles set forth in 410:6.
